Transmongolie-China-Tibet
Omschrijving:
Olympische Spelen in China? Dat is nog eens een goed excuus voor een verre reis. Aldus bellen naar reisbureaus en op zoek naar een docent Chinees. Het reisbureau raad het ons af. Kamers in Beijing van 20 euro kosten ter tijde van de OS 300 euro per nacht en dan mag je gelijk voor 10 dagen boeken. OK, dan gaan we wel voorafgaand aan de Spelen. Helaas valt dat plan in duigen. Onrusten in Tibet verhinderen dat we dit bijzondere gebied kunnen bezichtigen. En als ik dan toch zo ver weg ben, moet en zal ik ook naar Tibet. Aldus stellen we de trip uit naar zomer 2009.
Ondertussen volgen we wel braaf Chinese les. Jaja, aan de voorbereiding zal het niet liggen! Wekelijks naar Almere voor de oeh, ieh en aahs! En inmiddels kunnen we ons best leuk redden. Beetje vertellen waar je vandaan komt, wat je doet, wat je wilt bestellen etc. We gaan zien of alle studie ons ook nog ergens brengt. In ieder geval hebben we voldoende voorpret.
Anouk en ik hebben onze werkgevers lief aangekeken en we mogen maar liefst zes weken op pad. Zo'n twee weken gaan we met de trein, gevolg door vier weken touren door China en Tibet. Wat een voorrecht!
Via Outsight heb ik al het binnenlands vervoer en de overnachtingen geregeld. Ook een aantal excursies zijn vooraf vastgelegd. Dat scheelt gedoe ter plekke. De vlucht naar Moskou en van HongKong naar NL heb ik zelf geboekt.
Het regelen van de Visa heb ik uitbesteed aan een visumbureau, wat niet betekent dat je niks meer hoeft te doen. Vier pasfoto's, 2 paspoorten, zo'n 10 A-4'tjes invullen, Russisch geschreven faxen en wereldwijde verzekeringsdocumenten gaan een maand voor vertrek allemaal in een enveloppe. Ik voel mij nu daarom wat identiteitsloos en ga morgen toch maar even bellen op mijn paspoort zich vermaakt op haar tijdelijke verblijf. Je hebt geen grip op het proces van visumaanvraag en dat voelt niet lekker. Maar goed, komt vast prima in orde.
Je gaat hier de verhalen van zus en mij lezen. Dat wil zeggen, als we internetgelegenheid gaan hebben. De reis leidt ons naar plekken waar vaak niet eens toilet of stromend water is, laat staan internet...
De tas is nagenoeg ingepakt. Warm goed voor Tibet, beschaafde kleding voor tempels, luchtig spul voor snikheet China, wat proviand (het eten in Tibet schijnt drama te zijn) en allerlei handigheden om toch wat mobiel comfort bij je te hebben.

Transmongolie-China-Tibet
Omschrijving:
Olympische Spelen in China? Dat is nog eens een goed excuus voor een verre reis. Aldus bellen naar reisbureaus en op zoek naar een docent Chinees. Het reisbureau raad het ons af. Kamers in Beijing van 20 euro kosten ter tijde van de OS 300 euro per nacht en dan mag je gelijk voor 10 dagen boeken. OK, dan gaan we wel voorafgaand aan de Spelen. Helaas valt dat plan in duigen. Onrusten in Tibet verhinderen dat we dit bijzondere gebied kunnen bezichtigen. En als ik dan toch zo ver weg ben, moet en zal ik ook naar Tibet. Aldus stellen we de trip uit naar zomer 2009.
Ondertussen volgen we wel braaf Chinese les. Jaja, aan de voorbereiding zal het niet liggen! Wekelijks naar Almere voor de oeh, ieh en aahs! En inmiddels kunnen we ons best leuk redden. Beetje vertellen waar je vandaan komt, wat je doet, wat je wilt bestellen etc. We gaan zien of alle studie ons ook nog ergens brengt. In ieder geval hebben we voldoende voorpret.
Anouk en ik hebben onze werkgevers lief aangekeken en we mogen maar liefst zes weken op pad. Zo'n twee weken gaan we met de trein, gevolg door vier weken touren door China en Tibet. Wat een voorrecht!
Via Outsight heb ik al het binnenlands vervoer en de overnachtingen geregeld. Ook een aantal excursies zijn vooraf vastgelegd. Dat scheelt gedoe ter plekke. De vlucht naar Moskou en van HongKong naar NL heb ik zelf geboekt.
Het regelen van de Visa heb ik uitbesteed aan een visumbureau, wat niet betekent dat je niks meer hoeft te doen. Vier pasfoto's, 2 paspoorten, zo'n 10 A-4'tjes invullen, Russisch geschreven faxen en wereldwijde verzekeringsdocumenten gaan een maand voor vertrek allemaal in een enveloppe. Ik voel mij nu daarom wat identiteitsloos en ga morgen toch maar even bellen op mijn paspoort zich vermaakt op haar tijdelijke verblijf. Je hebt geen grip op het proces van visumaanvraag en dat voelt niet lekker. Maar goed, komt vast prima in orde.
Je gaat hier de verhalen van zus en mij lezen. Dat wil zeggen, als we internetgelegenheid gaan hebben. De reis leidt ons naar plekken waar vaak niet eens toilet of stromend water is, laat staan internet...
De tas is nagenoeg ingepakt. Warm goed voor Tibet, beschaafde kleding voor tempels, luchtig spul voor snikheet China, wat proviand (het eten in Tibet schijnt drama te zijn) en allerlei handigheden om toch wat mobiel comfort bij je te hebben.

Transmongolie-China-Tibet
Omschrijving:
Olympische Spelen in China? Dat is nog eens een goed excuus voor een verre reis. Aldus bellen naar reisbureaus en op zoek naar een docent Chinees. Het reisbureau raad het ons af. Kamers in Beijing van 20 euro kosten ter tijde van de OS 300 euro per nacht en dan mag je gelijk voor 10 dagen boeken. OK, dan gaan we wel voorafgaand aan de Spelen. Helaas valt dat plan in duigen. Onrusten in Tibet verhinderen dat we dit bijzondere gebied kunnen bezichtigen. En als ik dan toch zo ver weg ben, moet en zal ik ook naar Tibet. Aldus stellen we de trip uit naar zomer 2009.
Ondertussen volgen we wel braaf Chinese les. Jaja, aan de voorbereiding zal het niet liggen! Wekelijks naar Almere voor de oeh, ieh en aahs! En inmiddels kunnen we ons best leuk redden. Beetje vertellen waar je vandaan komt, wat je doet, wat je wilt bestellen etc. We gaan zien of alle studie ons ook nog ergens brengt. In ieder geval hebben we voldoende voorpret.
Anouk en ik hebben onze werkgevers lief aangekeken en we mogen maar liefst zes weken op pad. Zo'n twee weken gaan we met de trein, gevolg door vier weken touren door China en Tibet. Wat een voorrecht!
Via Outsight heb ik al het binnenlands vervoer en de overnachtingen geregeld. Ook een aantal excursies zijn vooraf vastgelegd. Dat scheelt gedoe ter plekke. De vlucht naar Moskou en van HongKong naar NL heb ik zelf geboekt.
Het regelen van de Visa heb ik uitbesteed aan een visumbureau, wat niet betekent dat je niks meer hoeft te doen. Vier pasfoto's, 2 paspoorten, zo'n 10 A-4'tjes invullen, Russisch geschreven faxen en wereldwijde verzekeringsdocumenten gaan een maand voor vertrek allemaal in een enveloppe. Ik voel mij nu daarom wat identiteitsloos en ga morgen toch maar even bellen op mijn paspoort zich vermaakt op haar tijdelijke verblijf. Je hebt geen grip op het proces van visumaanvraag en dat voelt niet lekker. Maar goed, komt vast prima in orde.
Je gaat hier de verhalen van zus en mij lezen. Dat wil zeggen, als we internetgelegenheid gaan hebben. De reis leidt ons naar plekken waar vaak niet eens toilet of stromend water is, laat staan internet...
De tas is nagenoeg ingepakt. Warm goed voor Tibet, beschaafde kleding voor tempels, luchtig spul voor snikheet China, wat proviand (het eten in Tibet schijnt drama te zijn) en allerlei handigheden om toch wat mobiel comfort bij je te hebben.

Transmongolie-China-Tibet
Omschrijving:
Olympische Spelen in China? Dat is nog eens een goed excuus voor een verre reis. Aldus bellen naar reisbureaus en op zoek naar een docent Chinees. Het reisbureau raad het ons af. Kamers in Beijing van 20 euro kosten ter tijde van de OS 300 euro per nacht en dan mag je gelijk voor 10 dagen boeken. OK, dan gaan we wel voorafgaand aan de Spelen. Helaas valt dat plan in duigen. Onrusten in Tibet verhinderen dat we dit bijzondere gebied kunnen bezichtigen. En als ik dan toch zo ver weg ben, moet en zal ik ook naar Tibet. Aldus stellen we de trip uit naar zomer 2009.
Ondertussen volgen we wel braaf Chinese les. Jaja, aan de voorbereiding zal het niet liggen! Wekelijks naar Almere voor de oeh, ieh en aahs! En inmiddels kunnen we ons best leuk redden. Beetje vertellen waar je vandaan komt, wat je doet, wat je wilt bestellen etc. We gaan zien of alle studie ons ook nog ergens brengt. In ieder geval hebben we voldoende voorpret.
Anouk en ik hebben onze werkgevers lief aangekeken en we mogen maar liefst zes weken op pad. Zo'n twee weken gaan we met de trein, gevolg door vier weken touren door China en Tibet. Wat een voorrecht!
Via Outsight heb ik al het binnenlands vervoer en de overnachtingen geregeld. Ook een aantal excursies zijn vooraf vastgelegd. Dat scheelt gedoe ter plekke. De vlucht naar Moskou en van HongKong naar NL heb ik zelf geboekt.
Het regelen van de Visa heb ik uitbesteed aan een visumbureau, wat niet betekent dat je niks meer hoeft te doen. Vier pasfoto's, 2 paspoorten, zo'n 10 A-4'tjes invullen, Russisch geschreven faxen en wereldwijde verzekeringsdocumenten gaan een maand voor vertrek allemaal in een enveloppe. Ik voel mij nu daarom wat identiteitsloos en ga morgen toch maar even bellen op mijn paspoort zich vermaakt op haar tijdelijke verblijf. Je hebt geen grip op het proces van visumaanvraag en dat voelt niet lekker. Maar goed, komt vast prima in orde.
Je gaat hier de verhalen van zus en mij lezen. Dat wil zeggen, als we internetgelegenheid gaan hebben. De reis leidt ons naar plekken waar vaak niet eens toilet of stromend water is, laat staan internet...
De tas is nagenoeg ingepakt. Warm goed voor Tibet, beschaafde kleding voor tempels, luchtig spul voor snikheet China, wat proviand (het eten in Tibet schijnt drama te zijn) en allerlei handigheden om toch wat mobiel comfort bij je te hebben.

Jaja, Sas is heel wat van plan deze zomer. Het is gelukt lang vrij te krijgen van mijn werk en nu ga ik op pad. Eerst een weekje WereldGymnaestrada. Dan kom ik op 16 juli terug en vertrek ik 17 juli naar Argentinie. Daar is Mirjam naartoe geemigreerd. Zij was mijn reisbegeleidster van de Ecuadortrip en een lange tijd mijn Spaanse juf. Met haar en Guille ga ik zo'n drie weken rondtrekken. Het is er winter en de bedoeling is een kampeertrip te houden. Dus dat is best een uitdaging.
Na die drie weken vertrek ik op 7 augustus vanuit Buenos Aires via Washington naar Los Angelos om een turnster van Turning Spirit Almere te bezoeken. Ook zij is geemigreerd. Ja dat doet allemaal maar. En ik maar reizen! Haha! Ik blijf daar 2 weken en ben van plan naast canyons te bezoeken en fun te hebben ook wat te relaxen en het normale Nederlandse leven weer strijdbaar tegemoed te kunnen gaan.
Je gaat het hier lezen. Ik ga mijn best doen zo goed mogelijk mijn belevenissen neer te tikken en met wat mazzel lukt het me ook nog wat foto's te plaatsen. Als je berichten wilt schrijven: houd je vooral niet in!

[description] => Olympische Spelen in China? Dat is nog eens een goed excuus voor een verre reis. Aldus bellen naar reisbureaus en op zoek naar een docent Chinees. Het reisbureau raad het ons af. Kamers in Beijing van 20 euro kosten ter tijde van de OS 300 euro per nacht en dan mag je gelijk voor 10 dagen boeken. OK, dan gaan we wel voorafgaand aan de Spelen. Helaas valt dat plan in duigen. Onrusten in Tibet verhinderen dat we dit bijzondere gebied kunnen bezichtigen. En als ik dan toch zo ver weg ben, moet en zal ik ook naar Tibet. Aldus stellen we de trip uit naar zomer 2009.
Ondertussen volgen we wel braaf Chinese les. Jaja, aan de voorbereiding zal het niet liggen! Wekelijks naar Almere voor de oeh, ieh en aahs! En inmiddels kunnen we ons best leuk redden. Beetje vertellen waar je vandaan komt, wat je doet, wat je wilt bestellen etc. We gaan zien of alle studie ons ook nog ergens brengt. In ieder geval hebben we voldoende voorpret.
Anouk en ik hebben onze werkgevers lief aangekeken en we mogen maar liefst zes weken op pad. Zo'n twee weken gaan we met de trein, gevolg door vier weken touren door China en Tibet. Wat een voorrecht!
Via Outsight heb ik al het binnenlands vervoer en de overnachtingen geregeld. Ook een aantal excursies zijn vooraf vastgelegd. Dat scheelt gedoe ter plekke. De vlucht naar Moskou en van HongKong naar NL heb ik zelf geboekt.
Het regelen van de Visa heb ik uitbesteed aan een visumbureau, wat niet betekent dat je niks meer hoeft te doen. Vier pasfoto's, 2 paspoorten, zo'n 10 A-4'tjes invullen, Russisch geschreven faxen en wereldwijde verzekeringsdocumenten gaan een maand voor vertrek allemaal in een enveloppe. Ik voel mij nu daarom wat identiteitsloos en ga morgen toch maar even bellen op mijn paspoort zich vermaakt op haar tijdelijke verblijf. Je hebt geen grip op het proces van visumaanvraag en dat voelt niet lekker. Maar goed, komt vast prima in orde.
Je gaat hier de verhalen van zus en mij lezen. Dat wil zeggen, als we internetgelegenheid gaan hebben. De reis leidt ons naar plekken waar vaak niet eens toilet of stromend water is, laat staan internet...
De tas is nagenoeg ingepakt. Warm goed voor Tibet, beschaafde kleding voor tempels, luchtig spul voor snikheet China, wat proviand (het eten in Tibet schijnt drama te zijn) en allerlei handigheden om toch wat mobiel comfort bij je te hebben.
